Join us for the largest earthquake drill in U.S. history

ShakeOut_JoinUsDid you know a 2008 study forecasts a 99.7% chance of an earthquake the size of the Northridge Earthquake or larger anytime during the next 30 years?  There are lots of ways to prepare, but one of the best ways is to participate in the annual Great California Shake Out.  This 60 second drill event is held every October and we encourage you to participate this year!  It’s a great way for your family, or organization of any size, to learn how to prepare and recover from a big earthquake.

Millions of people worldwide will practice how to Drop, Cover, and Hold On at 10:17 a.m. on October 17, 2013 during Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drills.

Register at The Great California Shake Out and you will receive email reminders as the date gets closer, along with great tips and resources for earthquake preparedness.

By the way…you don’t need to live in California to participate!
